Job Description:

We are seeking motivated, self-starters with a background in the automotive industry to join our OAS team. The ideal candidate will bring their existing connections and relationships within the automotive sector, offering immediate value to our business and helping us expand our network.

As an OAS Booking Consultant (Sales), you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and automotive dealers while ensuring timely, cost-effective transport solutions for our client's vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage existing connections in the automotive industry to build a strong network of carriers and customers.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vehicle owners, dealerships and third-party transporters.
• Coordinate vehicle shipments, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of the market and competitor activities to stay ahead of trends and deliver the best value for clients.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Track and manage shipments, providing updates to clients as necessary.
• Cultivate new relationships and continuously grow the company's client base through referrals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the automotive industry, ideally within the vehicle sales, transport, logistics or related fields.
• Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving mentality and proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Experience with QuickBooks, load boards, and logistics management software is a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and the legal requirements for transporting vehicles is a plus.
